LocalMind is designed as a local-first, privacy-first AI chat app. Its core AI chat experience runs on your own iPhone, not on a remote AI server operated by the developer.
Data Collection
LocalMind does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal data. The app does not require an account and does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDKs.
Because LocalMind does not operate a cloud account or chat server, the developer does not receive your prompts, generated replies, image attachments, chat history, settings, or usage history.
Prompts, Replies, and Images
Text prompts, generated replies, and optional image attachments are processed on your device by the local model. Image upload is optional, off by default, and controlled by you inside the app.
LocalMind stores app preferences and conversation state locally on your device. The app does not sync conversations to a developer cloud service.
Network Use
LocalMind may receive app and model resources through Apple’s App Store and On-Demand Resources systems. This resource delivery is separate from chat inference.
LocalMind does not send prompts, images, generated responses, or chat history to a server operated by the developer, and it does not use remote AI inference. Once the required app resources are installed, core chat inference can work without network access.
Purchases
LocalMind uses Apple’s StoreKit system for subscriptions. Payments, renewal management, refunds, and cancellation are handled by Apple through your Apple ID and App Store account settings.
The app reads the subscription entitlement on device to unlock full access. The developer does not receive your prompts, replies, images, or chat history through the purchase system.
The annual subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Permissions
LocalMind may request photo library access only when you choose to attach an image. The current build does not request microphone or speech recognition permission.
Children
LocalMind is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the app changes. The effective date above will be updated when the policy changes.
